Van Cleef & Arpels have introduced three radiant Perlée bracelets, marrying shimmering golden beads with inclined rows of diamonds, echoing the collection’s sparkling essence.

The three new Perlée bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels present an array of gold hues, each embodying the maison’s distinctive style. True to the Perlée’s luminous essence, the bracelets intertwine shimmering, round golden beads with inclined rows of diamonds. Their asymmetrical design adds a dynamic flair to the ensemble and complements other Perlée creations. Through a captivating interplay of light, these bracelets illuminate the skin, revealing tender nuances with pure radiance. The varying shades of gold offer endless possibilities for expression, inspiring infinite combinations that speak to individual desires. These bracelets showcase the playful side of Van Cleef & Arpels’ universe, with golden beads representing geometric shapes at the intersection of simplicity and sophistication.

Since the 1940s, Van Cleef & Arpels have adorned their creations with golden beads, symbolising timeless elegance. From iconic pieces like Couscous and Bagatelle to the beloved Alhambra collection of 1968, these beads are synonymous with the maison’s style. The new Perlée line pays homage to this legacy, drawing inspiration from past creations like the Tartelette and Pelouse from the late 1930s and the Caroline ring of the 1980s. Reflecting the brand’s evolution, these pieces feature gadrooned mountings and geometric designs, showcasing Van Cleef & Arpels’ enduring creativity in 100 years of jewellery excellence.

The Perlée collection showcases the brand’s commitment to craftsmanship, blending lapidary, jewellery-making, gem-setting and polishing expertise. The artisans meticulously handcraft each golden bead, polishing them individually to achieve a flawless surface that reflects light with brilliance. The gemologists select diamonds with utmost precision, adhering to strict criteria of D to F for colour and IF to VVS for clarity. These carefully chosen diamonds are expertly set, enhancing Perlée bracelets with an intense, captivating shine.

A recent collaboration with designer Arthur Hoffner, a friend of the maison, has brought a fresh perspective to the collection, infusing it with elements that celebrate the essence of Ramadan. Through vibrant window displays at Van Cleef & Arpels’ boutiques in the Middle East, Arthur’s vision comes to life, capturing the spirit of community and renewal that defines the Holy Month. The displays, featuring the rich colours of dusk and the brilliance of golden beads, evoke the magical atmosphere of Ramadan nights along with palm trees subtly integrated into the artwork, adding a touch of serenity.
