The magical world of Disney meets an iconic artist from the ‘80s in this very special collection by Coach.

Iconic cartoon characters and the luxury fashion world have been walking hand in hand for a while now, and the results are nothing short of fabulous. For Disney fans, Coach introduces the Disney Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring collection, highlighting the artist’s iconic illustrations of the world’s most famous mouse. The artist is recognised by his bold pop art and graffiti creations that helped build New York City’s street culture in the 1980s.

The Concept

The capsule collection brings together three American symbols: Coach, Disney, and Keith Haring. “Sometimes the best design comes from the most unlikely juxtapositions, and I can’t think of a cultural clash that brings me more joy than Mickey Mouse and Keith Haring,” said Stuart Vevers, creative director of Coach. Disney Mickey Mouse x Keith Haring translates the energy of downtown New York in the 1980s, where the artist lived and expressed his art. It also features the famous Andy Mouse, a cross between Mickey Mouse and his personal hero Andy Warhol – in a true celebration of pop art.

The Campaign

Created in collaboration with the photographer Alessandro Simonetti, who is renowned for his work around subculture scenes, the campaign stars an international cast. It includes Kaia Gerber and Cole Sprouse alongside Japanese model Kōki, Chinese model Xiao Wen Ju, and TV personality Myles O’Neal.

The Pocket Collection

The selection of products includes bags crafted in glovetanned leather topped with Mickey’s ears, a shearling jacket, totes, and sweatshirts with Keith Haring’s artwork. An interactive digital experience entitled Disney Mickey Mouse x Coach Exploratorium was also created so that customers can watch exclusive videos featuring the campaign’s stars, shop the collection, and even create their own street art in the style of Keith Haring.
