Elie Saab’s Le Parfum Lumière is the newest addition to the Lebanese couturier’s collection of elegant scents. Put together by the talented perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the fragrance strives to embolden Saab’s theme of dawn and light with delicate bouquets of citrus, jasmine and ylangylang. It is a celebration of confident and brave women around the globe.
The initial spray gives off a subtle aroma of Italian mandarin oil blend with a dash of Madagascan ylang-ylang oil, which unfurls like the rays of the sun flowering in the early hours of dawn. Next, a beguiling aroma of Indian jasmine sambac absolute and tuberose invades the senses adding warmth and a feeling of calm, with a hint of fresh orange blossom intricately weaving itself into the fragrance. Finally, touches of musk, amber wood and patchouli heart take shape to form the ultimate olfactory sensation.
