OHLALA – Can you tell us about your career path and how the beauty world entered your life? What fascinates you about it?
Alan Sino – I’ve always been drawn to entrepreneurship, particularly projects that aim to make a lasting impression. My journey into the beauty world began through personal experiences that reshaped my understanding of skincare and self-care. I saw firsthand how natural ingredients could transform not only appearance but also confidence. This realisation sparked the idea for Lunto, a brand built around authenticity, low-impact and safe beauty solutions. What fascinates me most about the beauty industry is its ability to empower individuals. Beauty is more than aesthetics; it’s about self-expression, wellness, and embracing who we are. At Lunto, we aim to redefine beauty standards by offering products that are both effective and environmentally responsible, giving people a sense of confidence while contributing to a better world.
OHLALA – What does Lunto offer in terms of range of products? What are the most popular items?
Alan – Lunto offers a carefully curated selection of beauty and skincare products designed with natural ingredients and eco-friendly concepts at their core. Our product range focuses on essential skincare needs, including moisturisers, cleansers and toners, serums and body care. One of our most popular product lines is the Gold Maid collection, with the standout item being our gold soap. This luxurious item has become a customer favourite for its ability to cleanse deeply while leaving the skin glowing and refreshed. At Lunto, every product reflects our philosophy, ensuring that our customers can feel good about both the results and the choices they make for their skin and the planet.
OHLALA – The brand uses premium natural ingredients. What are the ingredients that stand out for you? Any favourite?
Alan – We are committed to using premium natural ingredients that deliver real results while supporting skin health. Some special ingredients are gold extract, which stimulates collagen production, brightens the skin and adds a touch of luxury to daily skincare; Alpine rose, known for its ability to protect against environmental stressors; black bee honey, packed with antioxidants and moisturising properties and other natural elements. We incorporate a variety of plant-based extracts to enhance the effectiveness of each product, ensuring they are gentle yet powerful. If I had to choose a favourite, it would be gold extract. It not only gives the skin a beautiful glow but also symbolises the luxurious touch that defines Lunto.

Our practices include ecofriendly ingredients, biodegradability, responsible sourcing, minimal and recyclable packaging, cruelty-free production, none of our products are tested on animals and we support local communities by collaborating with sustainable suppliers and small-scale producers. We value energy-efficient operations by reducing carbon emissions in our logistics and promoting eco-conscious behaviour in our offices. OHLALA – Lunto is a local brand; however, where is it formulated and produced?
Alan – While Lunto is proudly a Bahraini brand, our products are formulated in Switzerland and Germany and produced in Turkey. We chose to collaborate with these countries because of their exceptional expertise in cosmetic science and natural formulations. Switzerland and Germany are renowned for their high standards in research and development, especially with premium ingredients. Turkey was selected for production due to its advanced manufacturing capabilities and alignment with our values. This allows us to ensure that every product not only meets international quality standards but is also produced efficiently and responsibly. By blending local identity with global expertise, Lunto delivers products that reflect our philosophy of combining nature, science and ethics to offer beauty solutions our customers can trust.
