Press Refresh: Hello, Summer!

It’s time to celebrate the happy months of the year with the spring and summer 2025 fashion trends. Our selection highlights the must-have colours and styles. Check out what you should wear when the temperatures rise.

As much as we dread summertime in this part of the world, spring and summer fashion is something to look forward to – it is the time to add some joy to our wardrobes.

This season, we didn’t spot super colourful collections, but an ode to black and brown – Pantone really got it right with its Mocha Mousse – many brands embraced muted tones. However, the cuts are joyful and refreshed, and the silhouette is softer, even in maxi shapes. Instead of vivid shades, pastel once again reigns with a big highlight to baby blue, green and pink.

The shoulders are the area to show off in halter necks and strapless necklines – these are found in tops and dresses for warm summer nights in a dreamy destination. Following this obsession, shoulder bags in medium to large sizes are the handbags to take with you this season – we were so done with the trend of tiny bags, with not enough space for the number of useless things we need to carry, now we are back to heavy bags with a smile. Shoes are coming in many forms, but we think mules speak summer 2025 out loud.

A sense of powerful femininity is in the air; we feel that Frida Kahlo’s quote: “Not fragile like a flower, fragile like a bomb,” is a good one to keep in mind while putting your looks together. A mix of subtle and loud elements gives space for personal style and reflects individuality – it’s time to be yourself. No one else in the world knows how to do that other than you. Fashion should be fun – own it!

Girly Touch

Skirts are a staple if you are an enthusiast of the romantic style – they help to add a stroke of femininity to your wardrobe. This season, maxi and midi lengths steal the mini reign for a democratic era in girly girls’ wardrobes.

Grabbed By The Waist

Belts are back in the spotlight. Long gone are the days when their sole job was to hold the trousers up. A versatile accessory that helps you create a cohesive outfit and a balanced silhouette. If you want to dare, wear two of them at the waistline for an it-girl vibe.

Into The Blues

Explore the unknown while wearing the colour that paints the sky and ocean. Pale blue has reached the status of one of the chicest hues of the season. It can be spotted in clothes and eye-catching accessories for a refreshed twist.

Dark Days

On the opposite side of pale hues, black is proving that it will go nowhere this summer – it is painting looks from head to toe. The invigorating aspect is that the silhouettes are soft and feminine, breaking the grimness of the shade.

Light Like A Feather

Flowy lines and ethereal cuts are like a summer breeze – adding a refreshing aesthetic without rules for those days you want an effortless outfit. It proposes laid-back designs with gauzy fabrics and soft tones.

Sweet As Chocolate

If there is one colour that is everywhere, it is brown. A shade that was a bit forgotten a few seasons ago, showing up in beige tones only, has now unapologetically taken the fashion world by storm. Do you own a Mocha Mousse piece? If not, it’s time you did.

Goddess Vibes

Halter neck dresses originated in ancient Greece and were popularised by Yves Saint Laurent. They fasten behind the neck, leaving shoulders and upper back exposed. This summer is all about feminine necklines for powerful looks.

I Hope It Falls

Funny enough, that’s the Brazilian name for strapless tops. As it suggests, this neckline comes without straps and relies on a good fastening system to keep it in place. Bare shoulders shine, adding a touch of sensuality to the most basic design.

The Big Short

Long shorts, also known as Bermudas, are a stylish and versatile wardrobe item. They can become dressy when paired with heels and suit jackets but are easily toned down when teamed with trainers and a tee – the choice is yours!

Carrying The World

Forget tiny handbags that can barely take your mobile and lipstick. This season, we are happy to announce that medium and large bags are back in the spotlight; hooray! Totes with strong shoulder straps are the designs to look for. We can’t wait to retire the little ones – at least for now.

Slipping Into Style

Mules, you can love or hate them, but it’s undeniable that they are one the favourite footwear items of the hot season. Their open-backed nature makes many people avoid them for lack of support; if you are one of them, opt for shorter heels to give you the right balance. Fashion is not always about comfort, or is it? That’s your call!
