Minimal Yet Expressive Jewels

This month, we embrace the universe of gems with a brand-new name: Akshita Rattha Fine Jewellery.

Defined by sculptural elegance, quiet symbolism and intricate craftsmanship, Akshita Rattha Fine Jewellery honours individuality and embodies the lightness of being. Founded by designer Akshita Rattha, each creation is meant to be a modern heirloom – timeless, wearable and crafted with ethnically sourced gemstones.

The brand starts its journey with three collections: Auraya, Marelle and Talora. Auraya explores the harmony of form through sculptural design and sacred geometry. Crafted in 18-carat gold and adorned with fine gemstones, each piece reflects convergence and balance, blending organic curves with architectural lines in jewels that are intentional and versatile.

Marelle is a lyrical exploration of the ocean’s quiet strength, drawing inspiration from coral forms and the rhythm of tides. Sculpted in gold with vibrant gemstones, Marelle reimagines marine beauty in a way that feels fluid, serene and deeply connected to nature’s resilience. The Everblooming, 18-carat white gold statement earrings featuring ombre diamonds and white diamonds, beautifully express Marelle’s fluidity. Talora is a collection named after the Latin word for dew – a symbol of grace, renewal and quiet strength. Inspired by the luminous stillness of dawn where light and water converge in fleeting brilliance, Talora translates this moment into a series of sculptural jewels in 18-carat white gold, adorned with incandescent pearls and brilliant-cut diamonds. Designs such as the Serina, in 18-carat white gold, with briolette diamonds and emeralds, trace a path of suspended light, and the Lunira, in 18-carat white gold, with round and rose-cut diamonds and baguette-cut diamonds in a channel setting, cascades with diamonds like droplets across a moonlit sky.

Drawing from a legacy of heritage maisons while embracing a contemporary vision, the brand speaks to a discerning global clientele who view jewellery as an extension of self, art patrons, collectors and women who wear each piece as a reflection of meaning and empowerment.

“At the heart of my work lies the belief that jewellery is more than adornment. It is a personal expression – a story of empowerment carried through form and stone,” says Akshita.
