Brand partnerships and funky accessories are the highlights of our monthly news page. Check out what is trending!

Walk the Talk

Like Balenciaga did a couple of years ago, Kurt Geiger is now teaming up with the American brand Crocs. The London-based shoe and accessories label is releasing two limited edition styles. One of the glossy black Kurt Geiger X Crocs designs is punctuated with colourful chunky crystals, creating a bold multi-coloured hue across the asymmetric shoes. The colourful details are a signature for Kurt Geiger, signifying ‘kindness, joy, inclusivity and hope’. These are messages that the brand continuously aims to communicate to its international audience through numerous campaigns. The other design features a luxurious faux fur trim and Kurt Geiger London’s signature eagle-head charm as an eye-catching detail.

Online Shopping

London jeweller David Morris partners again with FARFETCH to continue its online expansion with exclusive pieces. The collection includes David Morris signature collections through unique designs, ranging from emerald collars to opal cocktail rings, each showcasing the brand’s creativity, cutting-edge technologies and traditional handcraftsmanship. The campaign features model Qun Ye capturing the optimistic mood of the new-season fashion collections whilst offering fresh inspiration on how to wear High Jewellery. The shoot’s concept brings David Morris into the world of culture-responsive fashion, highlighting the house’s elegance and history styled with trendy outfits. A white diamond earring and necklace set feels fresh when teamed with a ’90s-inspired silk slip dress, and pearl earrings pop against a tangerine-hued body-con dress – everyday luxury.

Speed and Style

The sports field and fashion walk hand-in-hand, always creating exclusive partnerships. Kimoa is a clothing and accessory brand created by Fernando Alonso, a motorsport champion, who is teaming up with Formula E to launch a range of Formula E-branded sunglasses. The collaboration can be spotted in two of Kimoa’s most popular designs that fuse style and sustainability. The glossy black frame of the Sidney model is made with bio-acetate, a biodegradable material. The design features polarised lenses in Formula E electric blue with branding in the corner of the lens inside the arm. The LA model frame in bright white and Formula E electric blue is made from the recycled PET plastic of three plastic water bottles and features polarised lenses. The two brands re-affirm their commitment to sustainability in eco-friendly packaging.

Tech-Driven Solutions

MCM and XOUXOU are two brands that combine luxury fashion and technology. In their essence, they capture Germany’s burgeoning creative community where they have their roots, sharing a vision on progression, creativity, inclusivity and movement. A hands-free mobile case has been created by this partnership, providing a functional solution for the digital era. Designed exclusively for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, the cases are made of high-quality materials and feature the MagSafe (a magnetic technology from Apple). The item is made of soft-touch coated TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) with the engraved MCM monogram and a woven co-branded lanyard. The design is available in two colours: MCM’s iconic reddish-brown with brass hardware finished in 18-carat gold plating and the classic black and premium stainless steel hardware.

Sweet Accessories

The Spanish label Purificación García (PG) brings innovative designs with smart textiles and prints to the fashion scene. The creative designer behind the brand is a fabric expert who creates subtle, understated and contemporary clothing. The Choco collection features elevated 3D stitching inspired by classic chocolate bars. Using a ‘stamp’ sealing technique, consisting of a PG cube proliferated on the neoprene, a risen pattern is created. The designs are featured on handbags, small accessories and footwear. The Choco bag celebrates simplicity through irony and humour that characterises the brand’s attitude.
