Different Perspective

Stella McCartney presents Stella Shared 3, a capsule collection of conscious unisex staples exploring shared values and aesthetics. The British fashion house offered its platform to three creative forces: Ed Curtis in London, Maisie Broome (Myfawnwy) in New York City and Tom Tosseyn in Antwerp, forming a collective and a collection. With a clubkid perspective blending fantasy and reality, their prints are featured on iconic Stella archetypes. The palette pairs neutrals with youthful bursts of colour, including patterned eccentrically clashing classics with contemporary fantasies. “For my McCartney A to Z Manifesto, I shared my platform with next-gen artists who interpreted our values through their visions. Stella Shared 3 continues this spirit of collaboration today, remixing Stella pieces with prints by incredible talents of tomorrow – collectively advancing by sharing our skills, resources and communities,” says Stella McCartney.

From Fashion to Beauty

The luxury fashion house Valentino is exploring new grounds with its Valentino Beauty enterprise. The make-up line was officially launched at the brand’s Rendez-Vous Fashion Show in Paris in October. Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino’s Creative Director, is behind the new beauty concept, and he believes that beauty is permeated by harmonised imperfection and liveliness, not static or controlled. The line is robust, offering several different finishes, shades, and versions of many products in the collection. Along with standards like foundation and lipstick, it offers eyeshadow palettes, liners in bright hues, pigments and even two different types of glitter.

Iconic Style

Inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s signature looks, the Karl by Karl capsule is an exclusive, gender-neutral collection that pays homage to the designer’s unmistakable silhouette. The selection is a tribute to this fashion legend, ranging from tailored pieces, sophisticated outerwear and key accessories like fingerless gloves, bags and fans, to crisp white shirts and a tunic made in sustainably sourced organic cotton. The capsule has been curated by Carine Roitfeld, Style Advisor of the Maison Karl Lagerfeld, and designed by Hun Kim, the brand’s design director. For Middle Eastern Fashionistas

Coach has introduced Signature Leather, a collection created exclusively for the Middle East. The special line features the house’s iconic Signature pattern embossed on polished pebbled leather and the womenswear collection includes the timeless Willow and Tyler silhouettes. You also find an assortment of small leather goods in a black, oxblood and dove grey palette within the line. The campaign has been shot by Polish fashion and portrait photographer, Mateusz Stefanowski and features Lana Al Baik, a Palestinian-Syrian model, and French-Iranian digital creator, Parvane Barrett. The campaign translates the energetic vibe of Coach’s hometown, New York City, and shows off the brand’s spirit of inclusiveness and creativity.

Merry Time

Salvatore Ferragamo puts us in the festive mood with its Holiday 2021 collection and the It’s Movie O’Clock campaign. The joyful line takes us into the winter holidays, celebrating the warmth of friendship. It’s Movie O’Clock is a portfolio of photos and videos dedicated to this magical period. The concept of the visuals is an imaginary Italian villa that could be anywhere, just like home is when it’s shared, and the young stars of the campaign getting together for dinner and movie night. Ferragamo invites us to pause and notice the details, gestures, smiles and hugs because they form the whole picture and make the difference. The highlights in the women’s collection are tailored and minimalist articles paired with bold accessories such as mules and boots with an F heel covered in glitter. Bags with new shapes in lamé or Flamingo Pink leather add extra sparkle. A selection of eye-catching add-ons to your classic looks.
