Michael Kors’ 2022 Lunar New Year campaign celebrates the Year of the Tiger in bold fashion.

According to the Chinese Zodiac, 2022 is the Year of the Tiger and Michael Kors created the 2022 Lunar New Year campaign to mark the new cycle. The tradition says that the Year of the Tiger honours the courageous, ambitious, daring, enthusiastic and generous. This year’s campaign has a special tiger motif designed exclusively for Michael Kors by Chinese illustrator Ji WeiRan.

Featuring striking brushstrokes and rich colours, the tiger is seen as the backdrop of especially curated Lunar New Year products throughout the campaign. From the Greenwich crossbody bag rendered in an all-over sequin Signature logo design to matching slingback shoes. The Signature logo Hamilton bag comes with red trim and golden details. Red, black and rose are the chosen colours to paint this celebratory collection. The edit has everything you need to ring in the New Year in style.

Ji WeiRan has previously collaborated with the Michael Kors brand, appearing in the first-ever MK My Way campaign in 2020. Ji WeiRan’s tiger design can be found throughout the 2022 Lunar New Year campaign and brought to life in animated videos.
