The Italian footwear brand Rene Caovilla collaborates with Indian designer Gaurav Gupta for a luxurious capsule for your dreamy wedding.
At Bridal Week in Mumbai, Venetian luxury shoe house Rene Caovilla partnered with Indian designer Gaurav Gupta for his Quantum Entanglement bridal show. The collaboration resulted in seven exclusive, custom-designed shoes of Italian craftsmanship with traditional Indian textiles and embroidery.
The collection features three of Rene Caovilla’s iconic styles reinterpreted for the occasion. The Chandelier sandal appears in three satin and Indian brocade variations in soft ivory and light gold with a touch of orange, accented with crystal pendants. The Margot sandal is transformed into bold platform versions, one in red satin with a crystal-encrusted golden snake, while the other is electric blue satin with subtle crystal detailing. The Cleo pump completes the lineup in black and ivory Indian brocade with matching crystal embellishments.
A marvellous fusion of heritage and artisanal skill, the collection will be available at Rene Caovilla and Gaurav Gupta boutiques and online from January 2026.
