Maison Georges Hobeika manifest their love for planet Earth and humanity in their Autumn and Winter 2022/2023 Couture collection.
This dreamy collection is the result of the visions of Co-Creative Directors Georges and Jad Hobeika. Each piece is an elaborate tribute to the rare gifts of Mother Nature. It captures the wonders of the natural world – from waterfalls to waves and the blazing sun. The exquisite pieces are brought to life by the skilled ‘Mains Précieuses’ seamstresses in the company’s Beirut atelier.
This season’s bold couture silhouettes embody the power of life and creativity through unusual structures, vivid colours and many sparkles. Everything is either adorned with dramatic feathers, jewel-like sculptural formations of stones or crystal appliqués. The season’s palette flushes from Mediterranean blues to sunset tones of peachy orange, yellow, fuchsia and pink. A mesmerising pistachio shade is further enhanced by striking emerald and forest green accents.
The couture DNA of the house is thrust into a futuristic realm through various innovative techniques, from meticulous airbrushing to metallic feathers and spikes. Crystallised tulle bodysuits add a dramatic appeal to the looks. Among the finishing touches, the maison’s orchid emblem appears on earrings and necklaces with chunky crystals. Couture dreams take flight, heightened by a heartfelt message of acceptance, liberty and the freedom to express yourself.
