The opening of its newest boutique in Bahrain – located in Marassi Galleria, one of the Kingdom’s most celebrated luxury retail destinations – has been announced by Australian luxury fashion brand, Zimmermann.

“It’s always inspiring to witness rich cultural heritage intersect with modern innovation, and Bahrain offers exactly that,” said Nicky Zimmermann, Creative Director and co-founder.
“It’s exciting to open in Marassi Galleria, a truly impressive retail destination – the perfect location to invite clients into our brand world.”
Designed by long-term collaborators, Studio McQualter, the boutique invites clients with a layered approach to texture and materiality. Its rendered storefront is accented with custom handmade tiles and bronzed brass ribbed detailing. Two display windows showcase curated compositions: mannequins sit alongside a French Art Deco walnut table with a Gaetana Pesce vase in one and a vintage glass-and-metal coffee table with a brass Danish wall light in the other.

Inside, clients are met by a striking full-height artwork screen featuring a commissioned piece and set against crisp, white-painted walls and custom terrazzo tiles. Vintage furniture and lighting sit alongside a curation of artworks by Australian and international artists, in continuation of the brand’s commitment to championing art.
Throughout the boutique, the Ready-to-Wear collection is displayed in mirror-polished stainless-steel wardrobes, contrasting white robe niches and recessed wardrobes with coloured wallpaper interiors, creating a sense of immersive discovery. The accessories area features a bag service table – behind that, the full collection is presented in a cupboard.
A framed mirror feature wall leads into the lounge through double doors, providing privacy between the retail space and fitting rooms. Smooth white render walls blend seamlessly into an exaggerated cove detail at the ceiling. Brass and mirror doors open to fitting room vestibules, offering a luxurious private retail experience.

The lounge area is anchored by terrazzo-patterned tile flooring and accented with a custom emerald-green, hand-woven rug, creating an area for pause with armchairs by Le Corbusier and Guillerme et Chambron.
The Zimmermann Bahrain boutique opens with the new Cruise RTW 26 Collection. It is located on the first floor.
