The latest cultural experience – titled: Palm Trees of Bahrain –by ANNADA Gallery, the art-focused arm of luxury brand ANNADA, was hosted by the stunning Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain.

The activation brought a curated selection of Bahraini artist Abbas Almosawi’s expressive works into the palace’s serene and elegant spaces, transforming its lounges into a living tribute to Bahrain’s artistic spirit.
Guests were enveloped in the iconic ambience of Raffles – a sanctuary of refined luxury, where warm hospitality and stunning architectural beauty converge. The evening delightfully unfolded with exquisite canapés crafted by the hotel’s talented culinary team, accompanied by gentle live music that harmoniously elevated the artworks into a multisensory experience.
Adding to the experience, Raffles introduced a special Palm-Trees-inspired Afternoon Tea Set, developed in collaboration with celebrity chef Yazid Ichamrahen, owner of the iconic restaurant Ycone Paris at Raffles Bahrain, whose culinary artistry beautifully complemented the theme. Each element of the set was thoughtfully crafted using Bahraini dates as a key ingredient – paying homage to the island’s heritage – and presented on the exclusive ANNADA x Raffles plating collection, designed to echo the colours and textures found in Abbas’ paintings. The menu blended modern gastronomy with traditional flavours, making the afternoon tea not only a treat for the palate but a continuation of the artistic narrative.

“We are honoured to celebrate Bahraini art in a space as beautiful as Raffles Al Areen Palace,” said Nada Alawi, founder and Creative Director of ANNADA.
“Its elegance and serenity amplified the emotional depth of Abbas Almosawi’s work, allowing guests to experience art in an entirely new way.”
Founded in 2011, ANNADA continues its mission to champion regional artists through fashion, lifestyle creations and immersive gallery activations. This collaboration with Raffles Al Areen Palace marks a shared commitment to elevating Bahrain’s cultural scene through art, storytelling and luxury experiences.
