The beginning of something is always exciting: enter here, a brand-new year. A collection of 365 days to start afresh, to embrace good habits and experience things you never thought of trying before. We’ve put together a list of 10 wellness-related ideas, organised into five topics, to inspire your life in 2026. Start the new year on the bright side of life by putting your well-being first.
10 Tips to Help You Exercise

- Change your mindset. Think of exercising as something you get to do, you are healthy enough, you can make time for it, rather than something you should do, that is part of a to-do list as an obligation. Look at it as a small luxury in your everyday life.
- Create habits that stick. Start with something small, such as walking 15 minutes a day. Don’t aim for something big at the beginning that you know you won’t be able to repeat easily. Also, make it convenient.
- Enter challenges. Choose a friend, family member or partner to join you in an exercise challenge. You can start with daily steps or go for full-on programmes to see who will win. You can even establish a prize or a prank at the end of it.
- Find a purpose to move. Maybe you lost weight and want to keep your new slim shape, or you want to improve your mental health (studies show that exercise is closely related to a sense of well-being). No matter what, find a reason and stick to it.
- Find your tribe. Sometimes all you need to do to move more is find a group of people you like to hang out with and organise team sports. Padel and tennis have apparently become quite popular, with many places offering spaces that can be rented for your gang.
- Hire a personal trainer. Having someone on your side, giving you instructions on what to do next and tracking your performance is the best way to get bitten by the ‘exercise bug’. Someone who is motivating and a little harsh from time to time can help.
- Introduce habit stacking in your daily life. Habit stacking is taking something you already do and pairing it with a new habit. You brush your teeth every day. Why not add squats into the equation? You can do 10 of them while brushing, or right after. Soon enough, it will become an automatic habit.
- Put it on your calendar. Just like you do with appointments, meeting friends and date nights, create a schedule that blocks that specific time for exercise. It doesn’t have to be many days a week, even one is better than nothing.
- Try something completely different. Are you tired of the same type of exercises being offered out there? What about joining an adult ballet class? Or even go for gymnastics? Sometimes you just have to find what makes you happy to keep you moving.
- Wear a smartwatch or fitness tracker. It might sound like a trend, but wearing one of these can motivate you to move more. You will be competing with yourself (and others, depending on the device) to track the number of steps or amount of exercise in a month.

10 Treatments to Experience

- Exosome Therapy. Just as collagen and elastin are produced less as we age, so too are exosomes. They are derived from human stem cells and contain key components that support the body’s healing. Additional exosomes can be delivered in serum form and applied with microneedling.
- Infrared Sauna. In these saunas, infrared waves penetrate deep into the body to raise its core temperature rather than relying on external heat like in a traditional sauna. It is believed to be a great way to detox the body.
- IV Therapy. This kind of therapy has become very popular for its fast delivery of essential nutrients into the bloodstream. The concoctions are formulated with vitamin cocktails to support hydration, energy and recovery. They offer instant results for boosting energy, supporting the immune system and enhancing overall well-being.
- Oxygen Facial or Hydrafacial. The first delivers immediate results, ideal for those needing a quick refresh or glow. The second provides long-lasting results for up to six weeks, with benefits including smoother skin texture and improved hydration. Both are great, though.
- Salt Therapy. Salt caves and rooms improve breathing, skin health and sleep. Active spaces have machines breaking salt into particles, allowing you to breathe them in, while passive spaces are designed for relaxation without inhaling them. For the skin, dry salt can absorb impurities, regulate pH levels and promote the growth of beneficial bacteria.
- Sleep Spa Journeys. We all know how sleep plays a big part in overall well-being. However, many factors work against a good night’s sleep. With that problem in hand, many places are offering a series of treatments to help with sleepless nights, combining holistic practices such as aromatherapy massages, Reiki and sleep coaching.
- Social Wellness Experiences. The offers now go beyond couples’ treatments, you can experience sound bath gatherings and wellness retreats that blend fitness, healing and friendship – together is better.
- Technology-assisted Therapies. VR Meditation transports you to virtual calming environments that help reduce stress and improve mindfulness in minutes. AI Wellness Assistants are chatbots and voice tools that provide recommendations and wellness tips and some medical centres also offer 3D body scans to customise treatments.
- Turkish Hammam. Despite sharing the same concept as Moroccan Bath, it doesn’t focus as much on detoxification or scrubbing. It still has it in its steps, but the Turkish bath is more about cleansing, water rituals and relaxation.
- Zero Gravity Massage. This type of treatment takes place in special chairs or pods that lift your legs above your heart, distributing your weight evenly and creating a floating-on-air sensation. The mechanisms in the chair replicate the touch and techniques of a masseuse and are said to boost circulation, improve oxygenation and enhance nutrient distribution.
